DIY for Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!

I wanted to have this post up a couple days ago but I have been busy with work, and other things, I haven't even had time to finish this DIY until today! smh

So I got my mom something that she wanted from the Hallmark store from Josiah, a coffee cup, and a set of Calphalon Cookware.

& Here is what I made my mom for Mother's Day

DIY BODY SCRUB

It’s the perfect exfoliate for your heels, knees, elbows and even great for your legs! Especially since summer is approaching fast and we all know you want to get rid of that winter-beaten dry skin!! The perfect inexpensive gift...Yes you could go to the dollar store and buy an already made body scrub for only one dollar but where would the fun be in that? lol I've been reading so many ways to make this, I just kind of did my own thing on this one...

What you'll need ;

2-3 Tea Bags

2 ounces Almond Oil

1/2 cup regular Sugar

1/2 cup Raw Sugar

1/2 cup Baby oil

1 Lemon (for Juice & Lemon Zest)

Put Almond Oil, baby oil & Tea bags together, let sit for one hour

Take tea bags out and squeeze the lemon to get all of the juice out, scrap the lemon for the zest, add the sugar and raw sugar

Mix together well

Scoop into a container or/and jar. I got these from the dollar tree - two for a dollar and the jars we had left over from canning last year.

Did you know that Sugar and Lemon Juice are some of the best Stretch mark reducers? Well Google says it is! I'll have to keep some of this for myself!

Have you made any DIY body scrub recipes? If so I'd love to read them and maybe try them!

Have a good day everyone!
