3. WRAP AGAIN - I want to try it again, since I do have two left.

4. GET A BLOG WATERMARK FOR MY PICTURES - this is going to be hard, with my long name. haha

5. MAKE A LIGHT BOX - I've been procrastinating, but I will be posting about it next week Wednesday for oh how pinteresting!

I know I'll have a good Monday, or week at that! I found out last week that Wednesday night was my last over night shift! It's kind of like a biter-sweet feeling though! I liked being able to do "what I wanted" at work in that time, It was kind of like "me time". But I really hated working all different shifts in one week. We will see how this goes. It's kind of pathetic I've been here for a year and I really have no say in what kind of hours I get. All I want is 7-3 most of the time....which is what everyone wants. LOL oh well!!! Have a great day

But before you go today google reader went away. So please be sure to follow Manicures & Extra Sprinkles on Bloglovin' !

Another great thing to do in Virginia. It's about 15 minutes away from my house to be exact. We go at least twice a year, because every time we go there are always animals that we want to see that are sleeping at the time. Like the past week that we went.

90s Throwback

Today is Sunday and the rainy weather calls for us to just relax. Yesterday while on YouTube I got into the mode to just ;listen to the soft rock music that artist like Vanessa Williams and Jim Brickman made. Even though I was a kid it reminds me of how different today's ,music is and I kinda prefer the 90s soft rock. Here are some through back jams. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Fanny Pack Necklace = Tres Chic

It's nice to have what you need at your fingertips...
But it's EXTRA NICE to have what you need around your neck.
When you wear a fanny pack at your waist that is just too far away, especially if you're carrying snacks, you just want the snacks RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE, like a human feed bag of sorts, so you don't *even need to think* about where your Cheetos are.

This is not just a great look. It's just good planning.

60th birthday party

I couldn't sleep much last night because I was a bit nervous about how our bikini photo shoot was going to end up looking like in the paper. My dad brought me the paper early so I could check it out. Then I took my sister to work and headed to the gym to do my new workout routine for the first time.

It felt like the whole day was just about the paper and the photo shoot, I'm making a post about that later. In the evening we had a 60th birthday party of a very long-term business associate my dad, my mum and I attended. It was much better than I expected. The atmosphere was superb, describing very much how the couple is like, the food was amazing and time just flew by.

Elizabeth Taylor Wedding Gowns

Happy Saturday!

As I stumble across an article that highlight the beautiful gowns of one the most glamourous women in Hollywood the late Elizabeth Taylor...I thought I would share. Maybe this could be inspiration for my soon to be brides who have a summer or fall wedding approaching. Considentally enough my mother shares the same birth day as Ms. Taylor and equally as beautiful might I add. Here are a few of her 7 wedding gowns that are up for auction what do you think?

Friday evening run in the Finnish summer

Once again it is weekend. After work on Friday we headed to our lake house. I told my brother I was going for a little run so he joined me. It's quite a challenge to run with him even if he hasn't done it much but since he's almost 2 meters long his steps are bigger so he can easily escape if you wanna call it that. The weather for running was mild and the nature calm, no cars the only thing was the bugging mosquitos, apparently they're still alive and breathing.

We ran about 6km and afterwards enjoyed some well earned sauna and swimming. The water was a whopping +25C so even my dad was brave enough to join us. He used to be fearless when he was younger but now it takes forever to get him to the lake. And what else to end the day with that real Finnish strawberries.

Yummy

Novelty Brooch Friday #2 *Pearls*

Oooooh, I am so into *Novelty Brooch Friday*!!

This week I made a brooch out of a yellow/orange faux pearl bracelet that had had better days... It was pretty beat up. Looked kind of similar to this one:
The "pearls" were mounted on this springy wire. It was pretty easy to dismantle and form into a kind of flowery shape:

And then hot-glue the snot out of it, and insert a "brooch back" pin, which I bought at JoAnn Fabrics.

I then flipped it over and spray-painted it gold to hide the glue:

Voila!!
I love how the pearls spun on the wires so that some are still orange and yellow on the back. The metal bars are the pieces that kept the bracelet neatly in it's 3 rows before, but I thought they looked kind of cool and added interest, so I kept them there:

Ready to ROCK N ROLL, NOVELTY BROOCH FRIDAY STYLE!!
