My trip to Tennessee { This Weekend I..}

You know I was going to get all my pictures edited and stuff...but a part of me is saying it's just a waste of time! As long as they are all (or mostly) the same size and your able to see them, then why add my watermark on every picture. I mean especially on a post like today when I have about 40 pictures to share with you!!! 



This is my story in pictures of what I did this weekend.....

My trip to Tennessee

  We left around 10pm Thursday night, right after I got off of work.

We made it to Clarksville, TN around 9 AM  Friday morning

The kids were full of energy! TeeTee (Josiah's Aunt) and Eric's Grandma bought them a huge coloring book and washable markers for their arrival. They were super excited. (I was too after being in the car for about 11 hours)

We made a trip to the liquor store..Tennessee moon shine anyone???!!

.. but only walked out with wine =)

 Me and my cousins drank home-made Sangrias our first night there... we were tired and just wanted to chill inside - & Yes a blog post is coming soon. =)

 We went to yard sales Saturday!

We went to Gate 10 Park to let the kids run off some energy while my mom visited one of her old friends..

Later that day, I visited my old friends Trista and Richilda! We were just being silly in all these pics. Love them!

 

 

 

 

 

 This is my cousin Cassandra, she just turned 21!!! We went to the "Electric Cowboy"

 She got her self chocolate wasted LOL

 Sunday- We wanted to get the kids out and wear them out so we went to a play called "Kids-n-Play". It was about 15 minutes from my aunts house and $10 per kid to get in.

 They had trains to ride

We ate Sunday (labor day cook-out)

Our trip back was alright..I lived to tell you about it!!!

Venice Film Festival Red Carpet *Best Dressed*

Ahhhh Venice... Don't you want to go to Venice?
Especially for the Venice Film Festival and wear something truly SPECTACULAR on the red carpet!?

Venice is a *bucket list* destination for me. I can't think of anywhere with such romance and such mystique. Beauty in environment and people. History and Gorgeous Architecture all in one. *sigh*

So there at the Venice Film Festival this year, the ladies were obviously heavily influenced by the amazing scenery around them, and really wowed in the fashion department... See what I mean...

1. Russian/Italian actress Anna Safroncik in Alberta Ferretti

 The airyness and delicacy of this gown really draw me in. It's almost like she is some sort of water nymph and this is her actual skin covering, it's just truly beautiful.

2. Dakota Fanning in Elie Saab Couture

This dress is just a showstopping KILLA. She looks like the queen of a medieval ice-kingdom. I love how her hair and skin are almost one in color, and the deep contrast of the navy in the dress. I love it on the runway too, but I think it looks perfection on Dakota. On the runway model it's really a different look, still good, but not as regal as it is on Ms. Fanning. Oh I love it.

3. Ukrainian Model Liliana Matthaeus

I cannot find who this dress is by. To me, it looks like either Elie Saab or Marchesa. It's GORGEOUS and she looks GORGEOUS in it!!! omg! I am usually not a fan of black dresses. To me black is just so boring and why would you wear black when you can wear a color? or the flatness that black can sometimes photograph... But not this gown. The appliques, the shape, the texture, is just so perfect, I can't stand it for one second. beauty.

4. Italian Actor/Director/Writer/Everything Marina Ripa di Meana

YASSSSS, the birdcage hat. Thank you for providing the awesome dramz for me.

5. Italian Model/Actress Vanessa Hessler in Zuhair Murad

Perfect fit. I love the *illusion* nude lining overlayed with the black, which is kind of bad ass. It's really wonderful and gothic, yet hard and tough as well. It's not a "sweet" pretty, which i love.

Labor Day Fun! ; {5forFIVE}

 Well Happy Labor Day everyone! 



I just got out of the car after a 12 hour drive! It didn't go as bad as thought it would, actually. and I'm glad! This is a late post but it's better then never, right! =)  Have a great day while ya'll are out enjoying your day off, eating at every cook-out that you can, I'm stuck at work with FOUR check-ins. whooopity do! At least it's time and half.





LAST WEEKS GOALS ;



1. NEW CLASS/ WALKING - Technically I did do this by chasing my kid, I do this every week, but really I didn't get back into my routine and I won't even be able to until next week when I work mornings. 

2. DO A RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS - I gave some of Josiah's clothes to a friend in need =) 

3. GET ALL MY BILLS PAID / CALL ABOUT FINANCIAL HELP FOR MEDICAL BILLS - Thank goodness for automatic payments! My insurance would have been cancelled. & I will call next week about that financial I just had too much going on!


4. BLOG AT LEAST 3X 

5. ENJOY MY WEEKEND IN KENTUCKY - I guess I can say I had fun! I saw my family, old friends, & got my baby cousin drunk LOL I'll have pictures uploading tonight for tomorrow's post!



THIS WEEKS GOALS ; 



1. CALL ABOUT FINANCIAL HELP FOR MEDICAL BILLS

2. CALL AND RE-SCHEDULE MY DOCTOR APPOINTMENT - I have been procrastinating and forgot that I work at 3 and my appointment is at 4:30. Good job Christin. 

3. DON'T SPEND ANY MONEY - I have been spending money like there is no tomorrow... Esp on fast food, which leads me to my next goal...

4. DO NOT EAT FAST FOOD - I need to stop. I'm gaining back my weight I've worked so hard to lose I the past summer months. It's a shame.

5. TRY A NEW CLASS / YOGA - OK! I'm really going to do it this week! LOL Sunday I work 3-11pm and I think Yoga is in the morning!!!! I can't wait. Maybe I can get a friend to come with me. 





So there ya have it. This week is pretty busy. I have appointment after appointment.... and not enough time. I work every day this week 3-11pm except Friday I'm off.

I know some of you are out of town and some of you may be working or preparing to head back to school. Either way I hope you enjoy the three day holiday weekend in some sort of fashion. Everyone needs a break. See  you manana!! We got alot to chat about, especially the buzz on which female celebrity made the worst dress list over the weekend... Stay tune!

Midnight Run Helsinki 2013

Saturday was time for the annual Midnight Run Helsinki. What makes it stand out from other similar events is the late at night timing. It was the fourth time the event was organized and it has grown bigger every year. This year almost 11 000 perky runners gathered at the Senate Square to run around the beautiful dark Helsinki. The run first started in Stockholm, Sweden in 1982 with the name Midnattsloppet, and was this year organized in Gothenburg and Malmö as well. Around 60 000 runners participate in these four events altogether. A lot of people have said that the Helsinki track is the most beautiful one, it runs through Kaivopuisto and Katajanokka. If you haven't tried it yet then run along next year. I promise you won't regret it. I ran together with a friend of mine. We had talked about it all summer as we signed up for the race in May already. The shirts are always a bright color as you run in the dark you must be seen. I had a really fun time and you will definitely see me there next year! What about you? ;)

Lauantaina järjestettiin jo perinteeksi muodostunut Midnight Run Helsinki. Tapahtuma järjestettiin Helsingissä jo neljättä kertaa ja se on vuosi vuodelta vain kasvattanut suosiotaan. Tänä vuonna lähes 11 000 iloista juoksijaa kokoontui Senaatintorille juostakseen ympäri kaunista, pimeää Helsinkiä. Kilpailu sai alkunsa Tukholmasta vuonna 1982 nimellä Midnattsloppet, ja järjestettiin tänä vuonna myös Göteborgissa ja  Malmössä. Kaikkiaan noin 60 000 juoksijaa osallistuu näihin neljään tapahtumaan. Monet ovat kehuneet Helsingin reittiä kaikista kauneimmaksi, se kiertää Kaivopuiston kautta Katajanokalle ja takaisin Senaatintorille. Jos ette vielä ole juosseet Midnight Runia tulkaa ehdottomasti ensi vuonna mukaan. Lupaan että ette tule pettymään. Itse juoksin yhdessä erään ystävättäreni kanssa. Puhuimme juoksusta koko kesän, ilmoittauduimmehan jo toukokuussa. Paidat ovat aina kirkkaan värisiä jotta juoksijat erottuisivat pimeässä Helsingin yössä. Minulla oli erittäin hauskaa ja aion ehdottomasti osallistua ensi vuonna. Entä sinä? ;)
