Glam, Glam Y More Glam!!

Hola Chicas!!

I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing weekend. Yes the Redskins played and no I didn't watch. Sports really isn't my thing but I'm always amazed at how incredibly quiet the neighborhood becomes when any sports event airs...

Aside from this the stars had my mouth drooling at some of the gorgeous gowns many top A-Lister's wore at the 2013 LACMA's. Here are some of the best of the best. Hope you enjoy!!

What can you say about the always sexy Salma Hayke? She wore a beautiful nude halter embroidered gown that was came in at the waist. She had heavenly soft lose waves with high lights to her normally coal black hair. I'm enjoying the light brown because I think it softens her face. Your thoughts?

Zoe Zaldana wore an interesting symmetrical clinging dress it was see through and cut-out with green lining from top to bottom. She had beautiful silky loosely curled locks and a great newlywed smile! Loved it!!

Kate Beckinsale blow me away with this off the shoulder beautiful powdery teal blue sparkling gown. It was so simple and elegant! She was simply perfect and her toned arms are amazing! She's always had a great body though.

Red haired beauty Isla Fisher wore another off the shoulder one piece number with her hair swept to the sides. The bronze-coppery dress was simple to wear that any figure could pull off. Take notice of the soft curls swept trend. I think this is a great hairstyle for upcoming holiday parties!! Which I'll be doing a post on soon! The red lips just scream holidays!!

Cameron Diaz was bursting with bright bold mustard yellow. With bands in  the front and the rest of her locks in a up-do she looked amazing! This was very Cameron because it was still fun and quirky.

Which female celebrity who's dress you would you wear if you had the chance?

Celebrity Engagement Rings

Diamonds are a  girls best friend and who doesn't love the beautiful extraordinarily lavish rings celebrity women are given. Here's a small collection of some of the most gorgeous celebrity engagement rings.

The marriage maybe over but Ashlee Simpson was given this beautiful asscher cut ring by ex hubby Pete Wentz. Lucky Girl!

Ben Affleck gave Jennifer Garner this 4.5 carat engagement ring. The diamond on this one is simply gorg.

Even though they never maid it down the aisle this beautiful ring was given to the lovely Zoe Saldana by ex- Bradly Cooper.

I believe the ring Justin Timberlake gave to Jessica Biel is an antique. Either way the ring is stunning and has  a regal look to it.

Basketball player Carmelo Anthony purposed to his soon the be wife La la Anthony with this reportedly $1 million engagement ring.

As you know there are many beautiful celebrities engagement rings to gawk over. My list doesn't even scratch the surface of some of the most radiant engament rings female celebrities have strolled down the red carpet sporting. Which rings are your favorite?

Zoe Saldana Inspires Baby Name

The social security administration has reported its most popular baby names of 2012. The name Cataleya was amongst the most popular of names. The name became popularized after the movie Columbia which was the name of Zoe Saldana.

"Cataleya is the hottest name of the year so far, rising from nowhere -- there were like 28 babies with that name born the previous year -- to 636 in 2012," name expert and author Laura Wattenberg from BabyNameWizard.com tells omg!. "Now it's a Top 500 name for girls across America."

The name Arya also picked up steam because of the character in "Game of Thrones". Well, with the name Diva I always stood out. If I'm correct there are approximately 3,000 plus people in the United States with the first name Diva. However, I'm the only Diva Samai in all of America. When my mother gave me my name it was for the Opera. My mother who also sings was watching an opera one evening and the opera singer title was Diva. Then my mom thought what a unique name. Initially my mother had picked out the name Cheyenne. My mother had family and friends calling me Cheyenne before giving birth. Even though, Cheyenne would become my middle name until this day I still have family members who call me Cheyenne which is fine. So what's in a name? For those you who have children what was the important factor in selecting your name? Tradition? Meaning? Uniqueness? Popularity? The way it sounds on the ear?

Kentucky Derby 2013 Fashion

Happy Monday!

As always I like to express that I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing weekend. I found myself grabbing an order of shrimp and heading to Haines Point with my family. Aside from family time, the 2013 Kentucky Derby took place over the weekend. In case you missed what I think everyone agrees is the most exciting part of the entire event, the fashion and hats!! Some of  the most stylish female celebrities were in attendance. So lets get to it!!

                                                  Actress Zoe Zaldana

Coco Rocha and Stephanie Graf ( I really like Coco's ensemble)

Former DC Chancellor Michelle Rhee and Kevin Johnson

Legendary R&B Singer Smokey Robinson and Francis Robinson

                                                          Actress Jane Seymour

The Hills Star Ms. Lauren Conrad

I really like the dresses Zoe Zaldana and Coco Rocha wore. I think Zoe's dress has a very sexy cut out but yet its practical to wear for low key yet upscale events such as this one. It was a perfect balance of dress casual and I love the neutral  color. I really liked Coco Rocha's dress, it was a beautiful pastel rose fuscha color, that would look great on any skin tone. I also loved her hat. Coco Rocha was my favorite by far. Aside form this Stephanie's Graf dress was beautiful floral print in a classic cut. Just absolutely lovely and any figure could pull that one of. Former Dc Chanllecor Michelle Rhee's black and white stripped dress for some reason or another reminded me of Hello Kitty meets Dr. Seuss's Cat in the Hat but in a good way. Smokey Robinson was dashing in his vertical stripped tux with white pants as did his beautiful wife Francis! Don't you just love it when you see couples who have been together for so many years! That reminded me of my great grandparents who lived well into their 90s and were married will over 50 years. The Robinson gave us style with love. Ms. Jane Seymour looks A-m-a-z-ing!! She's was the lady in red and has such a youthful glow about herself. I think she may found the fountain of youth!! I loved her hat, the neutral heels. She pulled it together. Finally Ms. Lauren Conrad. I love LC's no fuss approach to fashion, simple yet classy. This polka dot nude ensemble is classic LC. Even though, I will say I'm not a fan of her hat. There's something matronly about it... To see more celeb style from the 2013 Kentucky Derby (click here).             Zoe Saldana Shoes

Flats remain in style. Celebrities from Lauren Conrad and Zoe Saldana are spotted in them  all the time.  Find a pair to add sparkle and shimmer which glams-up a normally causal shoe officially making them  holiday season ready.
