Hey Guys I didn't forget about the second half of the post I concluded with yesterday; maternity wear at the Golden Globes 2014! I don't believe so many pregnant actresses have been in such diameter on the red carpet before.

The maternity style was the best part of the evening. From the form fitting sequin number Olivia Wilde wore or even a simple jewel encrusted halter top Elsa Pataky rocked with a daring silt, the maternal fashion was refreshing to watch. The actresses of today have refined pregnancy in tinsel town. During the 50s if an actress were pregnant her baby bump was hidden from the public. Today pregnancy is something celebrities are no longer forced to conceal.  I believe this message demonstrates its possible to have a career, marriage and family, if you chose...

I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing weekend. I know I'm covering the Emmy's late but I have to say best dress goes to Ms. Kerry  Washington. From head to toe Washington just blew me away. If I'm not mistaken Washington said that she was a late bloomer to fashion. It wasn't until she went to the library and studied the history of fashion until she finally "got it." I was strolling down the aisle the other day at Safeway when I notice actress Kerry Washington on Vanity Fair.  I had no idea Kerry Washington was on the Julys issue of Vanity Fair. In case you guys don't know I love Kerry Washington, she's has this sexy intellectual- regal elegance about her that I'm memorized by. As I stated before this women has the perfect combination of class and smarts all wrapped in one! ABC's scandal star Kerry Washington spoke at her alma mater  George Washington University's commencement ceremony. Washington recalled her time at the university as a student and joke about her audition to play frog in the college musical saying "It was not my lifetime dream role to play a frog. In fact, the thought of it terrified me."

Some you may not know that I spent at semester George Washington University. Its an awesome school and I meant people from different walks of life. Kerry Washington is truly an intelligent woman who's articulate  and one of the hottest female celebrities out today. She's my definition of brains and beauty.

2013 White House Correspondents Dinner & Vanity Fair Bash Fashion Highlights

                                
                                              


I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing weekend. I found myself finishing up some school assignments. It appears there's never enough time to do everything. Over the weekend I notice the White House  held the annual correspondent's dinner for 2013. I couldn't help but notice how chic Michelle Obama looked. She wore a simple black beaded sequins gown with a beautiful up do and bangs. I've always been a fan of simple chic and Mrs. Obama's style exemplifies this. There's no doubt since the president took office in 2008, Michelle Obama's style has redefined the style and traditional fashion role of First Lady of the United States. If I'm correct she was the first to bear her arms in the official White House portrait in 2008. Many people were not thrilled the First Lady showed her arms. Whether you agree with it or not Mrs.Obama style fits her own needs  and I applaud any woman who marches to the beat of her own drum.What are some of your favorite Michelle Obama looks?
