Pineapple Delite Cake on Friday the 13th! ;)

 

Yay It's Friday the 13th, I work today and tomorrow and Sunday so there's really not much to be excited about as far as the weekend is concerned. Whomp! Who can relate to that?! 

I know a lot of you can. =*

I really can't wait til I'm not working weekends anymore. 

Hopefully with me training for my new position *Sales Director*, it won't be long!!! 

Pray for me ya'll!!

This is so off topic but I had to share !!! ; why didn't I see this on my birthday?????? Anyone that knows me will totally get this!!! LMAO -----

And now My recipe for today!  --

Pineapple Delite Cake



ONLY 2 INGREDIENTS NEEDED! 


One box Angel Food cake mix and 1 can approx 20 oz crushed pineapple (I bought chunk and crushed them myself), do not drain...add juice and all. Mix by hand in a large bowl, it will foam up a lot. 

Heat oven to 350, lightly spray a 9x13 cake pan and bake for about 30 minutes.

I sprinkled powdered sugar over it and added pineapples.

 You can add whatever you'd like!

Free Glasses!

So I have been seeing everyone talk about free glasses online @ Firmoo.com  It really started in like January, but every time I tried to order something went wrong.. I didn't have my PD, or I forgot my prescription at home. Finally I said I wasn't leaving the site until I got the glasses! And last week that's just what I did. I had to sign up with three different emails because I kept changing my mind on which ones to buy. Not to mention the first few I really did want, weren't "eligible" for the discount. So I stepped outside of the box and chose a pair I would have never chosen before! ------

Pay $6.95 for shipping and the frames are free! 



I had the option to add a lot of different add-ons to my new glasses like, super thin lenses, anti-scratch was already added for free, UV coating, tint, and things like that. I added tint for only $10 more dollars! So now my new glasses are my new prescription sun glasses!

My total price for the frames and tint came to $16.90. I remembered I had some money left on my paypal account from a giveaway I had won a few months ago, so these glasses cost me $4.59! What a steal!

It's not Monday!

 So this post is late! LOL but better late then never! Happy Tuesday



I was suppose to work 7-3 shift yesterday, but I switched with someone because Joe has an interview this morning so he needed my car.. I hope he gets this job. And I hope this means more money. Speaking of, I need to continue with my job search too. At least part time with tips.. Please keep us in mind today! 





I'll start brand new with my goals this week ;



1. GET NEW INSURANCE - At least call for quotes.

2. PAY HALF OF MY BILLS THAT ARE ALL DUE AT THE END OF THE MONTH - never seems to fail that all my bills are due in one pay check. So I need to split it up so I don't spend all my money this check and late with a bill next check. Is that confusing? anways...

3. GET READY FOR MY KINGS DOMINION TRIP THIS WEEKEND! - I still don't know if who I made plans with is still coming or not! So in that case I need to FIND SOMEONE.. LOL any takers??

4. APPLY FOR SOME JOBS

5. REJOICE FOR NOT WORKING OVERNIGHT THIS WEEK!

I had a dinner date with Joe for Mother's Day

We went to Macaroni Grill in Virginia Beach.

We had never been before so we thought we 

would try it out.

The appetizers were bangin, but the main dish

not so much! 

Josiah and the kids did Mother's Day crafts this week.

I did a lot of Zumba and work outs with my trainer. I have been sweating like a pig.

I'm very proud of myself! & my mom is getting me a pair of zumba shoes! 

I'm pretty excited that Zumba is the new me!!!!

What I did this weekend..

Todaaayyyy I'm off ! I'm goin to skip my weekly goals this week, because right now it just feels like a bunch of gibberish in my head... I really just don't want to deal with what I have going on this week, really ...So here is what I did all week(end)

Got my nails done at the shop!

 I went to Plaza Aztec with Joe

I had Tilapia and Shrimp & my Skinny Margarita!

Spent all weekend at work!

I told Kim I felt like I was a stripper for the weekend carrying this thing around! HAHA

Most kids get chocolate if they were good on a normal day, but my son is spoiled by his nana & papa... He gets a bike! This is his first real time riding a bike, his very own at that. He couldn't get his foot motion right but he got it and now he is a pro! 

& that was my weekend... how was yours?

Stepping Into Spring Swap

DIY Make-up Remover

Hello Readers of Manicures and Sprinkles! I am so happy that Christin asked me to guest post for her! She is the sweetest.



My name is Amanda, I blog at A Beautiful Mess. I blog about just about everything under the sun. Literally! I am super passionate about health and fitness, and also beauty. I am an avid runner and yogi. I've also been known to post a healthy recipe or two :) Come say hi!! 



Today I want to share with all of you one of my newly discovered beauty secret: Olive Oil Make up Remover! This is a DIY, super cheap make up remover. 



All you need are three things:

Olive oil:

Water:

And something to put your make up remover in. I used an empty eye make up remover container I happened to have.

Mix the two together with the ratio of 3/4 water, 1/4 olive oil. The two will separate so you will need to shake the bottle before using, put it on a cotton ball and rub all over your face and voila! Your make up will come right off. 

I have been doing this for a few weeks now, and not only do I love how much the make up so easily comes off my face, but I really love the moisture that the olive oil gives my face. It's super moisturizing and makes my skin feel smooth.

So there you have it! A super easy and cheap (and probably includes ingredients you already have!)

This weekend I.... {link-ups}

It's April 8th..... and Tuesday is coming fast! I can almost taste it!

Tomorrow is "call-back day" for an interview I had two weeks ago for the Vet receptionist/assistant job. I'm going to try to stop thinking about it, but please pray she offers me a full time position! LOL Actually any position!



Anyways It's that time again for 5forFIVE



My goals for last week ;


1. GET THROUGH MY 4 DAYS OF OVERNIGHT SHIFT - I'm barely making it ; but lord knows I'm tired with all this stuff I did this weekend

2. GET BACK ON TRACK FOR REVOLT - I did my detox week, you can keep up with me HERE

3. PAY THE GYM MEMBERSHIP - I'm paying it today... & it's about damn time. Now I get my 2 sessions a week with a personal trainer! woot woot

4. APPLY TO MORE JOBS - Everyday!

5. CALLING AROUND TO HAIR SALONS TO FIX MY HAIR - Well I thought  about it. .. I'll just leave it like this for now and let it just grow out. I've been dealing with it (being eight different colors) since the second day I tried to dye it "auburn" ha...Who knows, I might just cut it off when it starts to be 100 degrees outside  =D



Goals for this week ; 



1. APPLY FOR MORE JOBS

2. GROCERY SHOP FOR THE WEEK - Having the food ready for me to take to work, is very essential in what I eat for the week. I noticed that when I made food for the weekend.

3. BUY SOME ITWORKS WRAPS

4. PAINT MY NAILS MORE - I've been slacking and I miss doing them regularly

5. RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS

worked 3 overnights shifts, but I still went home & 

managed to do a lot this weekend! Check it out!

 eating Schnitzel ; I don't even want to start on 

how bad he was this weekend LOL

& Frozen yogurt!  I never had this before 

but I sure will again cuz it was amazing!

Better then ice cream!





We went to the Zoo ;

went to Blue Bird Gap Farm ;

 

I couldn't believe he let the animal eat out of his hand!

he is definitely a big baby haha

 Then we met friends at Busch Gardens ; 

One of the best part about living in Virginia is being so 

close to a lot of attractions!

Josiah is terrified of any character that is life size.... 

That includes but doesn't limit ; Santa LOL, the Easter Bunny,

 Chuck E Cheese, & all pictured 

SMH I need to get it on video for yall

And I also painted my nails







And this all is the reason for about 5 hours of total sleep this weekend....
