I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing weekend. I'm glad the fireworks are over as a few of our neighbors where too elated and continued lighting fireworks even after the holiday. How annoying.. As I wrote in a prior post Harley's nerves were just shot. But he's much better now. I wanted to share with you guys another little beauty treatment that I love to do and it inexpensive. Its a little olive oil treatment:
Olive oil is a staple in the diets of people who live in the Mediterranean. Its also used on the hair to obtain moist locks with shininess. Here's a good hot oil treatment that can be use thought out the summer in case that chlorine and beach water takes a toll on your hair.
extra virgin olive oil or olive oil
a heat cap or plastic bag
30 minutes
I usually do this on a Saturday. Take the olive and heat it up, please don't burn fingers wait untill it cools before applying to the scalp. Place a plastic bag over your head and sit under a dryer for 30 minutes. When you rinse your hair will be very soft and manageable.
